From the very beginning of its incorporation and from the highest levels of management, GreenTech Automotive has had a laser-like focus on connecting two often disparate factors: Green Technology and Affordability.
Has the price of green technology been a factor in holding back the switch to energy-efficient vehicles?
At GreenTech Automotive, affordable implies a reasonable price. And this doesn't mean a stripped down model to achieve the lowest sticker price. Much more important is GTA's goal to always provide exceptional... more bang for the buck. More features. Comfort and convenience items that are on our customers' most-wanted list. Along with unexpected features that will surprise and delight. And we'll package this equipment as standard, as options and in packages at the lowest possible price.
At GTA, affordability starts with the very materials we use to manufacture a vehicle. We look for components that are environmentally friendly, reusable, and sustainable. We don't view any material as affordable unless it's recyclable. Use it again and again - that makes a product affordable with great long-term utility.
Affordability is also inherent in our commitment to electric and hybrid powertrains. Electricity is the fuel of the future. Today, on a cost-per-mile basis, electricity is considerably less expensive than gasoline. In the future, as gas prices continue to rise, the scale will tip even more strongly toward EVs and hybrids. Two cents a mile...that's affordability.
Air pollution is a world-wide problem. Every time you get behind the wheel of a vehicle that burns a petroleum-based fuel, you are paying for someone or some thing to clean the air. GTA does NOT consider this an affordable solution.
Affordability is long-term value. Not just a low sticker price but total cost of ownership for as long as you own your car. GTA designers and engineers work diligently to minimize your long-term fuel, repairs, maintenance and insurance costs while maximizing trade-in value.
Affordability is a car that is durable and reliable.
At GTA, we get it. Today's consumer wants a low sticker price, high-value features, and low ownership costs. He or she also wants great styling and a vehicle that is environmentally green. And especially one that that is fun-to-drive and gives you a warm, fuzzy feeling - an emotional lift - every time you slip behind the wheel.
That's affordability with a capital A.
